The best Tourist product
The development of tourist products is among priority tasks in the building of Poland’s image as a country attractive to tourists.
Without tourist products, the Polish Tourist Organisation would have nothing to promote. Without promotion, tourist products would not be able to be properly developed. According to this motto, the Polish Tourist Organisation consistently supports regional and local initiatives aimed at the creation of professional tourist products, promotes them domestically and abroad. The Best Tourist Product Competition initiated in 2002 is an important event concerned with this kind of activity.
To this year’s, the 3rd edition of the Competition were submitted 122 tourist products.
On 9th September, in an open vote, the Competition Jury consisting of: Jerzy Domański (Przegląd), Jan Wysokiński (Stowarzyszenie Ekspertów Turystyki), Ryszard Kunce (PTTK), Romuald Bokun (TVP3), Karolina Jaroszewicz (Newsweek) and Jerzy Walasek (POT) awarded 20 Certificates of the Polish Tourist Organisation for the development of products which had significantly contributed to increasing of tourist visits to Poland or to quantitative growth of Polish tourism.
We have the honour to inform that one of the certificates was presented to Mr. Antoni Chłapowski for the Jaszkowo Horse Riding Centre.
A formal presentation of the Certificates took place on 22th September 2005 in Warsaw, during the inauguration of the International Tourist Fair, TT-Warsaw Tour and Travel.
